The best part is it will be on the table in less than 30 minutes. Hearty Chicken Potsticker Soup
Ingredients:
Mix Ling Ling Dipping Sauce with cornstarch in a small bowl; set aside. In a large saucepan combine broth and water. Bring to a boil. Add frozen Ling Ling Potstickers, return to a boil. Cook for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add frozen vegetables, ginger, and scallions. Cook for 4 minutes. Add cornstarch mixture; reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with scallions. Serves 4. Cooking Methods
Potstickers: Boil/Brown (traditional): Bring 8 cups of water to a boil. Add FROZEN Potstickers and stir. Boil for 8 minutes. Drain and brown, if desired. To Brown: Add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil to a non-stick pan. Turn heat to medium.* Placed boiled Potstickers flat side down and cook until golden brown. Microwave (not recommended): Place 5 FROZEN Potstickers in a microwave-safe dish and cover with hot water. Microwave on high* for 5 to 6 minutes. Drain carefully as water will be very hot! If desired, brown as directed above.
Egg Rolls & Spring Rolls Conventional Oven (Recommended for a Crispier Wrapper) Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Place Egg Rolls or Spring Rolls on a baking sheet and heat for 15 to 20 minutes, or until heated through. For best results, turn once during baking. Pat dry and serve. Microwave (Fast and Easy) Microwave individual Egg Roll or Spring Roll on a paper towel or microwave-safe dish on HIGH for 1 to 1-1/2 minutes, or until heated through. Cool for 2 minutes, pat dry and serve.
Mini Egg Rolls & Mini Spring Rolls Conventional Oven (Recommended for a Crispier Wrapper) Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Place Egg Rolls or Spring Rolls on a baking sheet and heat for 10-12 minutes or until heated through. For best results, turn once during baking. Pat dry and serve. Microwave (Fast and Easy) Microwave three Egg Rolls or Spring Rolls on a paper towel or microwave-safe dish on high for 1 minute or until heated through. Cool for 2 minutes. Pat dry and serve.
Shu Mai Conventional Oven or Toaster Oven (Recommended for best results) Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Place Shu Mai on a baking sheet and heat for 12 to 14 minutes, or until heated through. Microwave Place 6 Shu Mai on a microwave-safe dish lined with a paper towel. Place paper towel over the top and microwave on HIGH, 1 to 2 minutes. Deep Fry Deep fry Shu Mai in oil heated between 350 and 360 degrees F for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from oil, pat dry and serve. * Appliances vary. Adjustments may be necessary to cook thoroughly. Please follow cooking instructions carefully and be sure to cook thoroughly to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F. Submit a recipe idea, too!
